Blinds in Formal Interiors

Are my windows too formal? A typical question I struggle with whenever I'm hit with the yearly nesting bug and I feel it’s about time I pull the drapes down and opt for something else. Roman blinds maybe? How about some modern roller blinds?



Formal doesn't have to mean uncomfy or intimidating. Formal can mean elegant and classic. Windows are often the centerpiece to a room and surely warrant one's careful consideration when it comes to planning one's interiors. Vertical blinds can bring about this symmetrical balance to your windows and personal space.

Viewing Sydney through Blinds

Sydney weather can be crazy. It can be raining crazy today and just too hot and dusty the next day. Thank God for the window blinds I had fitted on every window in our house. It has kept the elements away and reduce much of the window glare.



However, nights in Sydney can be relaxing too. At home, I just roll down the blinds and enjoy the view from my rooftop terrace, a modern property overlooking parts of Sydney harbour.

Too many choices, never enough time to go through them. Too many palettes, swatches and fabrics I could stick my fingers into. I mean I could go at this all day. I mean who doesn't love redecorating their homes? But really now, there are just far too many options these days. So far I trimmed everything down just according to my budget and window size. Pretty basic huh?



But really there's still a lot to see and choose from that are as decadent as the pricey ones. I think we are just lucky to live in this day and age, when there's so much passion for design and clamor for quality among designers and industry manufacturers. In this case, everyone wins!
